About the service
A smaller tool with visible limits
textmini.com helps people compare three Unicode families without hiding unsupported characters.
Reviewed 27 August 2026
Purpose and scope
The service focuses on small caps, superscript, and subscript because they answer the central task without turning the page into a gallery of unrelated decorative styles. It works without an account and keeps the input in the browser tab.
It does not create a font, publish text to another service, verify a platform’s acceptance, or guarantee how transformed characters will be pronounced.
How mappings are maintained
Mappings are reviewed against Unicode sources, classified by confidence, versioned, and exercised with golden tests. Strict mode excludes entries marked as visual approximations.
Compatibility claims are deliberately narrow. A matrix is not published until real devices and applications have been tested with a dated, reproducible protocol.
Corrections and feedback
Reports of incorrect mappings, confusing labels, missing keyboard access, or rendering problems are reviewed against the registry and test corpus. A correction that changes output is documented in the changelog.
